JACK APPLEBAUM - CEO/HEAD OF PRODUCTION
Jack has been a major operator in the entertainment industry for over thirty years.
In the past Jack has staged musicals, produced and directed television, owned his own successful record label and for twelve years he managed the entertainment and production operations for Forte, at the time when they were one of the world's leading hospitality and leisure operators. He has also managed the careers of a number of top headline artistes.
He is involved in managing all aspects of Epic's operations and has particular expertise in cruise ship entertainment and also as a theatre producer. In 2010 he was nominated as Producer of The Year.
Jack enjoys comedy... is fascinated by original magic and loves all genres of (great) live music. He is married with five children.
CHERYL APPLEBAUM - DIRECTOR
Cheryl has no formal background in the entertainment industry but has learnt a huge amount since her marriage to Jack! Trained as a Dispensing Optician, Cheryl still practices part time, however she is an important member of the Epic team, travelling to assist with shows and events up and down the country.
Cheryl also administers artistes contracts and payments and provides general admin support.
TREVOR KAYE - GENERAL MANAGER
Trevor spent the first 23 years of his working life in film and television production working on classic films such as "The Company of Wolves", "Willow", "The Princess Bride" and "Labyrinth".
He worked his way up through the ranks in the production department to become an Assistant Director working on primarily quality drama productions like "Scandal" and "The Saint" as well as television series' like "Midsomer Murders", "London's Burning", "Bramwell" and "The Bill".
After tiring of coping with the perils of freelance employment and spending months away working 18 hour days in all manner of unpleasant environments, he decided to make the break and look for another position utilizing his broad range of skills in the entertainment industry.
Trevor joined Epic in 2008, and was fast-tracked to become General Manager, working closely with Jack across all aspects of the business, but with particular day to day responsibility for Epic's theatre and concert operations.
ALI HALL - JACK'S PA
Ali studied the media at college and went on to work as a runner / assistant in TV, Talent management and PR before joining Epic in May 2011.
She is Jack's PA and assists in a huge manner of things including acts travel for cruises and keeping their diaries up to date as well as anything else that is thrown her way!
LOREN GOLDSWORTHY - PUBLICITY & SHOW OPERATIONS
After graduating with BA Hons in Drama Studies and Performing Arts Loren has worked in various roles such as Events Administrator (Compass Group), Press Assistant (The London Palladium) and Casting Assistant (The Old Vic Tunnels Project) until joining the Epic family in May 2011.
On a daily basis, Loren assists Trevor in all aspects of Epic’s Theatre activities.......mostly.....
LINDA BRIAN - ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Before joining the Epic team in 2008, Linda spent 10 years managing an accounts office in a private hospital. Linda also has experience in working with clients in the publishing and catering sectors. Married with two children, Linda is a keen horse rider.
Of course, we rely on an excellent team of support professionals... ranging from creative and technical experts to sales, administrative, promotional and finance personnel. Some of these are full time employees and some are freelancers however they are all the best in their particular field!
